The dense and complex 2016 vintage is very much in keeping with the style of Cos d'Estournel. It combines the finesse and opulence of its immediate neighbour Lafite Rothschild with the concentration and fine, ripe tannins of the vintage. Black fruits with a fine sweetness testify to ripe and perfect grapes. Probably the best Cos ever produced! 100 points from Robert Parker.
