One of the most beautiful châteaux in Bordeaux (an old monastery opposite the owner Château Haut Brion) trumps its famous neighbour time and time again, underpinning its position in the league of "superseconds". As has often been the case in its history, this vintage was awarded 100 Parker points. The complexity of this wine with its intense yet elegant notes of black berries, floral hints and flavours of the finest black tea is simply breathtaking.
