"The 2017 Pündericher Marienburg Riesling Raffes is the essence of grey slate," writes Stephan Reinhardt for ROBERT PARKER, awarding it 98 points. The Riesling from a special, old and high-altitude Fahrlay parcel is essentially a more or less dry Auslese with immense power and depth, but also finesse and freshness. It is a wine that covers all aspects of a Mosel Riesling and also delivers a unique dimension of power. Creaminess, effervescence, florality and herbaceousness are further aspects of this Riesling solitaire.
