The Zieregg vineyard has made the Tement winery world-famous. It lies between 330 and 490 meters above sea level and is characterized by various types of limestone such as coral shell limestone, weathered limestone and limestone marl. The Sauvignon Blanc was macerated for two days and matured for 24 months on the fine lees in large neutral wooden barrels. The "Zieregg? already shows the greatness of the site and the outstanding 2019 vintage on the nose. It is a wine full of elegance and complexity, with fine spice and intense but never loud fruit. The Sauvignon Blanc is cool and stony, building up enormous tension on the palate, reminiscent of smoke and stone, herbs limequat and lemongrass, lemon balm, mint and salted lemon, cassis and gooseberry.

The Tement family winery is located both in Styria and on the Slovenian side. But there is a common idea for both parts: father Manfred Tement and his sons Armin and Stefan are concerned with clearly bringing out the differences of each site.
