Family winery Tement Zieregg Sauvignon Blanc Magnum 2017

The "Zieregg' has long been one of the Sauvignon Blanc showpieces in Styria. With the generational change to Armin Tement, its style has changed slightly. Away from the vigour of earlier times, towards more finesse, elegance and smoky minerality. Of course, there is still plenty of fruit (whitecurrant, gooseberry, grapefruit and apricot), but this is now supported by cool elegance and a taut texture. However, this does not detract from Zieregg's status as one of the world's great Sauvignons - quite the opposite!
