Faiveley is one of the largest houses in Burgundy and has undergone a major change towards a more accessible style since the 2007 vintage. The wines are no longer as rugged in their youth, but have retained their ageing potential. The 2018 of their monopollage from Mercurey offers a very open, delicately fruity style. As the name suggests, subtle flavours of raspberries as well as ripe strawberries and other red fruits are at the forefront here.

Since 1825 and seven generations, the Domaine Faiveley in Nuits-Saint-Georges has been owned by the same family and is today one of the largest and best houses in Burgundy. in 2005, Erwan Faiveley took over the running of the estate from his father Francois. in 2017, his sister Eve joined him in the management.
