Domaine Huet Vouvray Le Mont sec 2017

Domaine Huet is a legend from the middle Loire around Tours. It is known for its complex and mineral Chenin Blanc from Vouvray, which can often mature for decades. The 2017 "Le Mont Sec" is the dry version of Huet's most famous vineyard with a clear quartz component in the tufa. It delights with smoky notes, ripe yellow yet crisp stone fruit, slightly bitter orange flavours, quince and curry. The creamy texture and enormous density ensure a harmonious, juicy and round character. An inspiring wine!
