With the 2020 vintage, the Tements have divided the large Zieregg vineyard into several parcel wines due to the very different soil structures and microclimates. The "Zieregg Kapelle? is a Sauvignon Blanc from the plateau above the winery at the foot of the Carmelite Chapel. The soil consists of heavy loam and clay on coral limestone. It is a very special type of Zieregg with lots of smoke, green pears, Reineclauden, limequats, mint and lichen. With air, the wine becomes more and more citrusy, with gooseberry, cassis, pepper and salted lemon. It is like a blend of Südsteiermark and Pouilly-Fumé with flint in its purest form.
