The Vega Sicilia "Único? 2013 first matured separately by parcel in 225-liter barrels, then together in 22,000-liter oak vats, before being bottled in June 2019. From a comparatively cool vintage, the wine is complex and balanced with multilayered aromas of plums, dark cherries, tea leaves, and milk chocolate. Aromatically dense, with floral notes, subtle and elegant on the palate, with fine, silky tannins and a creamy texture. "One of the best Únicos in recent years,? according to The Wine Advocate.
