Among the names internationally associated with the rise of Bordeaux is undoubtedly that of the Moueix family. jean-Pierre Moueix started his wine business in 1937, and from the 1950s vineyards were also acquired.

The Moueix Group's top wine and direct neighbor of Petrus and Lafleur is already a real powerhouse in the 2022 vintage! Enormous concentration and powerful tannins assault the palate. This will take time. But after years of maturation, Trotanoy always manages to become a great wine with great finesse and complexity, which in the end need not shy away from competition (not even from its much more expensive neighbors). And in this respect, it is once again a kind of "bargain? among the aristocracy of Pomerol!
