The 314 plots of Ao Yun lie between 2,200 and 2,600 metres above sea level. 19 % Cabernet Franc, 10 % Merlot, 7 % Syrah and 4 % Petit Verdot form an incredibly dense and multi-layered cuvée. Deep purple envelops aromas of blackberry, forest fruits, mint, earth, some liquorice and tar, incense, clove and nutmeg. All this in perfect balance in a robe of the finest tannins. In short, the "Ao Yun' shows everything that a Bordelais Premier Cru has to offer. And it absolutely lives up to its claim to be one of the absolute best in the world.
