Château Lafon-Rochet
Lafon-Rochet is a Quatrième Grand Cru Classé Château in Saint-Estèphe, the northernmost of the four local appellations on the Médoc peninsula. Only five of the over 50 Châteaux in Saint-Estèphe are basic cru estates.
Château Lafon Rochet 4ème GCC St. Estèphe 2020
This "4ième Grand Cru Classé" does not really want to fit into the sometimes somewhat robust-looking St. Estèphe appellation. Here, the tannins are more polished, the fruit softer and the acidity more subtle. All in all, a fine, elegant wine that has improved greatly in recent years and will also bring the opulence of the vintage in 2020. A complete, great Bordeaux in the direct neighbourhood of Lafite Rotschild!
