Few wineries have experienced such a rise in recent years as Château Valandraud. Jean-Luc and Murielle Thunevin have taken it from a 0.6-hectare garage winery to the forefront of the Grands Crus Classés.

Château Valaundraud is more or less the nucleus of the so-called garage wines. It has a large fan base. There are only ever very few bottles of this opulent, supple "Premier Grand Cru Classé B". Valaundraud is always a little different to so many wines from this appellation. The 2020 shows fine opulent sweetness, lots of black fruit and black chocolate. Very dense and mouth-filling, it is also elegant in the end and then also typically Bordeaux. A wine for special lovers of this style of wine!
