Château d'Aiguilhe is always among the top wines in the appellation and proves once again in the 2020 vintage that good wine does not necessarily have to cost a lot. With the black berry flavours typical of the vintage, underpinned by a chocolaty melt and chalky minerality, this wine has a very balanced and long-lasting finish.

In the 1970s, the von Neipperg family began acquiring properties in Bordeaux, including Château d'Aiguilhe in the Castillon - Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. The château is originally a 13th century fortification. Ruins bear witness to its long history.
