Stephan Graf Neipperg has created something extraordinary here on the Côte de Castillon. Château d'Aiguilhe is always among the top wines in the appellation and proves once again in the 2020 vintage that good wine does not necessarily have to cost a lot. With the black berry flavours typical of the vintage, underpinned by a chocolaty melt and chalky minerality, this wine has a very balanced and long-lasting finish.

In the 1970s, the von Neipperg family began acquiring properties in Bordeaux, including Château d'Aiguilhe in the Castillon - Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. The château is originally a 13th century fortification. Ruins bear witness to its long history.
