Around 15 years ago, Domaine Faiveley completed a 180-degree turnaround in the style of its wines. For a long time, the wines used to be unapproachable, almost bony, even in the Village area. This frightened off many connoisseurs. Things have been completely different since 2007. The wines have finesse, florality and juicy red fruit. Just like this "Gevrey Chambertin Vieilles Vignes". Despite its finesse, the wine has a lot of pressure on the palate and a good structure. The 2021 vintage then provides freshness and a salty minerality.
