If there is such a thing as a bank in the Graves appellation, it is Château de Fieuzal, with an excellent red Cru de Graves and an equally outstanding white wine, albeit a much rarer one.

Château de Fieuzal Cru Classé de Graves 2020
The Cru Classé vineyard has undergone enormous changes in recent years and has reached a new level of quality. The 2020 presents itself at the very highest level. Noble cassis and tobacco notes with ripe plum and fine herbal spice dominate the aromas. There are also ripe tannins and a mineral finish with plenty of freshness. A great success.
