The vineyards of DAOU are located around Paso Dobles, between Los Angeles and San Francisco. This is also where the grapes for the "Bodyguard Chardonnay' grow, which skilfully combines dense opulence and elegant finesse. A complex aromatic structure (pineapple, mango, peach, honeysuckle, vanilla) characterises the nose of this wine, which is joined on the palate by fresh acidity and other aromatic impressions such as citrus notes as well as honeydew melon, papaya, kiwi and passion fruit. The result is a fascinating and incredibly complex aroma of the highest quality.

"Daou" is basically nothing less than synonymous with the highest quality, highly decorated Bordeaux-style red wines from Paso Roble, the wine-growing region between the West Coast metropolises of Los Angeles and San Francisco. The vineyards of the brothers Daniel and Georges Daou are located in the western hills of this area.
