Blueberry, blackberry, dark cherry, and a hint of brioche dominate the aromatic profile of the 2020 "Lucente,? which, due to its distinctive character, we hesitate to call a second wine. Silky, flattering Merlot is complemented by about 25% Sangiovese grown on slate, which brings structure, depth, and complexity to the blend. The result is a soft, fruity yet aristocratic Tuscan red. Charming freshness and fruit fill the palate, accompanied by plenty of structure and a powerfully long finish – a thoroughly convincing performance.
