Domaine Faiveley Corton Grand Cru Clos des Cortons Faiveley rouge 2022
This Pinot Noir is the flagship of the estate. The 2.76-hectare monopollage on the hill of Corton has been in the family since 1874. The oldest vines were planted in 1932 and are rooted in limestone, marl, clay and ferruginous olith. This wine is a true Grand Cru from the outset. It is noble, elegant and full of finesse. The nose is dominated by red fruits and a mixture of cold chimney smoke, herbs, undergrowth and stone. On the palate, the Pinot Noir presents itself with fantastic fruit of wild berries and cherries, densely packed tannins and perfectly balanced acidity. A wine of great intensity, structure and length.
