Benjamin Leroux is a phenomenon. Originally from Beaune, but not born into a family of winegrowers, he became estate manager at Comte Armand in his mid-twenties and has since gained worldwide fame with his own wines.

Even in 2022, a year that was far from straightforward due to its warmth and heat, the former "Burgundy prodigy' Benjamin Leroux has produced a truly remarkable collection. One example of his exceptional talent is the Meursault Premier Cru "Les Genevrières'. The grapes are not destemmed; fermentation is spontaneous, and the wine is then aged for 12 months in 300-litre barrels – a third of which are new. The resulting Chardonnay is dense and concentrated, with power and intensity, plenty of yellow fruit and citrus, a hint of floral notes, and subtle woody tones of toasted hazelnut and almond.
