Château Sansonnet GCC St. Emilion 2021

Bordeaux, France, Red wine, wine cuvée
0.75 l, Item no. 12085

After being promoted to the circle of Grand Cru Classé wines in St. Emilion in 2012, the vineyard on the privileged limestone plateau has continued to develop. Here, organically farmed, a very powerful and concentrated wine is produced, but it is also very fine, elegant and, in the classic 2021 vintage, very sensual. Juicy cherry and sweet plum and finely polished tannins ensure great harmony!

Château Sansonnet

Château Sansonnet sits enthroned on the high plateau of St. Emilion with just 7 hectares of vineyards around the château. Its wines, which consist of around 85% Merlot (plus Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon), are always characterised by an intense and juicy aroma of sour cherries and blackcurrants, complemented by fine wood and exquisite spices.
