For wine lovers, the name Gaja instantly brings to mind the great Barolo and Barbaresco wines crafted by Angelo Gaja. But since 1996, the visionary who revolutionized Italian winemaking has also been active in Tuscany ? more precisely, in Bolgheri ? with his Ca' Marcanda estate. Naturally, with the same pursuit of vinous perfection as in Piedmont. The varietal blend of "Magari? perfectly reflects Gaja's French winemaking inspirations: Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon, rounded out with a touch of Petit Verdot. The 2021 vintage offers an abundance of fruit (dark cherry, blackcurrant), along with notes of freshly roasted coffee, black olives, licorice, and herbal spice.
