Château Kirwan belongs to the 3ième Grand Cru Classé de Margaux and has been owned since the 1920s by the Schÿler family, who moved from Hamburg to Bordeaux in the 18th century to become successful wine merchants.

The 3ème Cru Classé has left the power years behind and is once again concentrating on the typical virtues of Margaux. The 2024 is amazingly multi-faceted and multi-layered. Dark fruits and a present, ripe acidity and plenty of herbal spice result in a complex and harmonious wine.
