Tenuta San Guido
Tenuta San Guido is located on the Etruscan coast between Livorno and Grosseto, in the Maremma, and stretches for 13 kilometres from the sea to the inland. San Guido can be considered one of Italy's iconic wineries.
Tenuta San Guido Sassicaia 2022
Although the 2022 "Sassicaia? comes from a warm to hot year, Tenuta San Guido has managed to produce a finely polished Bolgheri with moderate alcohol. Still youthful and shining in a typically bright magenta hue, it clearly has the potential to become one of the wines of the vintage. The nose is seductively herbal – rosemary, thyme, sage – alongside forest floor, moss, sour cherries, and black cherries. On the palate, "Sassicaia? is sensual, elegant, silky, and absolutely precise.
