For Christophe Roumier, 2020 stands for purity, depth and aristocratic composure. The bouquet opens with fleeting reduction, cassis, violets, liquorice and fine smoke over a cool chalk note. On the palate, this nobility condenses into compact elegance: muscular yet supple, carried by fresh acidity and ultra-fine tannins. The length is almost architectural, clear and consistent.
