Tenuta dell'Ornellaia
The Tuscan winery Tenuta dell'Ornellaia was founded in 1981 by Marchese Lodovico Antinori and in between partly owned by Robert Mondavi. Today it belongs to the wine empire of the Frescobaldi family.
Tenuta dell'Ornellaia Le Serre Nuove 2022
Ornellaia's second wine is a Bolgheri as it is written in the book. The Bordeaux cuvée of Merlot (65%), Cabernet Sauvignon (25%) and Cabernet Franc (10%) delights with lush aromas of dark berries and cedar wood. Silky tannins and a fine acidity round off a very hedonistic wine.
