Tenuta dell'Ornellaia
The Tuscan winery Tenuta dell'Ornellaia was founded in 1981 by Marchese Lodovico Antinori and in between partly owned by Robert Mondavi. Today it belongs to the wine empire of the Frescobaldi family.

The almost pure Sauvignon Blanc (plus 2% Viognier) white from Ornellaia is and remains a phenomenon. It is amazing that Tenuta dell'Ornellaia can produce this fine, elegant and almost delicate wine in such a monumental vintage. The elegant fruit and delicate floral aromas form an overwhelming liaison with a subtle acid structure and a fine creaminess! There are only ever a few bottles available and it's time to grab them...
