Dievole Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG Vigna Sessina 2020
The "Vigna di Sessina? is made from the best grapes of the vineyard of the same name, located near the estate on fossil-rich Macigno sandstone soils. The wine was aged in traditional large oak casks. The ruby-red Gran Selezione "Vigna di Sessina? 2020 is a fragrant and intense Sangiovese, recalling violets and lavender, sage and licorice, plums, black cherries, stone, and smoke. On the palate, this Chianti Classico offers wonderful richness and noble structure. The fruit appears ripe and juicy, with mineral and herbal-spicy undertones, ripe tannins, and remarkable freshness.
