The Jechtinger Eichert is a bright ruby red Pinot Noir that could hardly be more typical of the Kaiserstuhl region. It is clear and juicy with a slightly vegetal and herbaceous note and a slightly tart red berry fruitiness. There are also hints of mocha and undergrowth. On the palate, it reveals dark, spicy aromas, juicy fruit and tannins that are still youthful but fine, with a slight bite. There are also slightly smoky notes.
