The Lindberg vineyard is located on south-facing terraces directly behind Krems' old town within the Wachtberg vineyard and covers 1.6 hectares. Old vines on loess-dominated mixed soils with primary rock components characterise the smooth yet mineral style of this wine. This 95-point wine is juicy and silky, with ripe yellow fruit, hints of pineapple and grapefruit, as well as fine herbal spice and subtle pepper notes. On the palate, creaminess, lively acidity and delicate fruit sweetness combine with dark minerality. The finish is long, elegant and mineral-salty, yet already very accessible despite its depth.
