Tenuta dell'Ornellaia
The Tuscan winery Tenuta dell'Ornellaia was founded in 1981 by Marchese Lodovico Antinori and in between partly owned by Robert Mondavi. Today it belongs to the wine empire of the Frescobaldi family.
Tenuta dell'Ornellaia Le Serre Nuove 2023
The Bordeaux blend from Tenuta dell'Ornellaia's 2023 vintage displays rich red and black fruit and plenty of spice. The powerful Bolgheri plays all the keys on its keyboard here. You immediately sense the complexity and opulence of the fruit, the wood is still noticeable, the tannins are present but rounded, and the finish is complemented by fine chocolate. Give it a little more time, and it will bring you much pleasure.
