Domaine Ramonet Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru 2022
The Corton-Charlemagne is one of Domaine Ramonet's most impressive white wines. The warm 2022 vintage combines the power and density of this Grand Cru vineyard with the precision and elegance typical of the estate. On the nose, there are notes of citrus, ripe pear and white peach, complemented by hazelnut, brioche and subtle flinty notes. On the palate, the wine is concentrated, yet firm, and characterised by a distinctive chalky minerality – just as is typical of Ramonet's wines. Careful ageing in barriques lends additional depth without overshadowing the terroir. A great Burgundy with impressive length!
