Fèlsina's "Maestro Raro' ranks among Tuscany's finest single-varietal Cabernet Sauvignon wines. The 2020 vintage combines the classic Cabernet nose with Mediterranean warmth and a wonderful freshness and precision. On the nose, dark cherries and blackcurrants meet cedarwood, tobacco, graphite and subtle balsamic notes. On the palate, the wine is deep and concentrated, yet elegantly structured, with fine-grained tannins, lively acidity and a long, mineral finish. Despite the international grape variety, the character remains distinctly Tuscan: powerful, spicy and never overbearing. A great Cabernet with an aristocratic structure and long ageing potential.
