Champagne Pommery Cuvée Louise Nature 2006

The Cuvée Louise Brut Nature 2006 offers the purest expression of Pommery's prestige cuvée. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the Grand Cru vineyards of Avize, Cramant and Aÿ come into their own, unadulterated, thanks to the zero dosage. On the nose, rose honey, quince jelly and candied mirabelle plums blend with brioche, delicate toasted notes and a hint of tobacco. On the palate, the champagne impresses with a salty, almost iodine-like minerality, a creamy texture and great precision. Brioche, subtle smoky notes and lemon zest characterise the long finish, underpinned by an elegant bitterness. An exceptionally complex prestige champagne that impressively combines power, finesse and the purity of great chalky terroirs.
