Champagne Pommery Cuvée Louise Parcelle Rosé 2004

Since its first vintage in 1979, the "Cuvée Louise Parcelle Rosé' has been one of Pommery's great prestige champagnes. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the Grand Cru vineyards of Avize, Cramant and Aÿ, together with a proportion of still Pinot Noir from Bouzy, lend this 2004 cuvée exceptional elegance and depth. Delicate aromas of wild strawberries, citrus fruits and freshly toasted bread combine with apricot jam, dried citrus peel and the chalky minerality of the vintage. On the palate, the rosé is both powerful and precise, with a silky texture, lively acidity and a long, delicately spicy finish. A fascinatingly harmonious prestige rosé, which received 95 points from James Suckling.
