"La Chapelle Gordonne? is one of Château La Gordonne's top cuvées. A sophisticated yet wonderfully approachable Provence rosé. The grapes come from an exceptional, contiguous, certified organic slate amphitheatre near the Mediterranean, whose cool winds and sunny climate lend the wine freshness and depth. In the glass, it glows a delicate salmon pink. The bouquet combines redcurrants, wild strawberries and cherries with grapefruit, white flowers and the delicate herbs of the garrigue. On the palate, the rosé is juicy, precise and elegant, underpinned by lively acidity and a distinctive mineral note. The long, delicately salty finish lends it character and makes it one of the finest rosés from Provence.
