The Terras do Grifo "Grande Reserva' 2017 is an impressive Douro red wine. This blend of indigenous grape varieties combines power, elegance and precision. On the nose, ripe black cherries, blackberries and violets unfold, accompanied by delicate spices, subtle smoky notes and a hint of the finest oak. On the palate, the wine is dense and concentrated, yet at the same time taut and mineral, with silky tannins and lively freshness. The long, multi-layered finish combines dark fruit, spicy nuances and a delicate slate-like minerality. A characterful Douro with good ageing potential, which was awarded 95 points at the Decanter World Wine Awards.
