Terras do Grifo Grande Reserva Blanco 2019

The Douro region has long been producing superb white wines – the Terras do Grifo "Grande Reserva Branco' 2019 is a striking example of this. This blend of Rabigato, Arinto, Gouveio Real, Códega do Larinho and Malvasia Fina combines ripe fruit with mineral precision. Aromas of white peach, pear and ripe citrus fruits mingle with subtle smoky notes, a hint of vanilla and the Douro's characteristic schist minerality. On the palate, the wine is powerful and creamy, yet firm and supported by lively acidity. The long ageing on the fine lees and in oak lends it additional depth and complexity. An exceptional white wine with excellent ageing potential.
