Winery Malat Furth Kremstal Riesling 2025

Winegrowing has been documented in parts of the Malat vineyards for about 1,000 years?today, a strict focus on the terroir is the guiding principle of vineyard management. Vines ranging from 30 to 40 years old grow at the foot of the Göttweiger Berg on the southern bank of the Danube and provide the grapes for this Riesling. They are harvested by hand and fermented spontaneously with as little intervention as possible in the cellar. This commitment to quality is reflected in the glass. With 12.5% alcohol, the Furth is pleasantly light and displays attractive peach and apricot fruit interwoven with a hint of grapefruit. On the palate, additional citrus notes and a salty, crystalline minerality join in, which then carry the impressively long finish.
