Château de Calavon
Since the end of the 19th century, the history of Château de Calavon has also been that of the Audibert family, who have owned the estate for five generations now. However, the estate’s history stretches back much further.
Half an hour north-west of Aix-en-Provence lies Château de Calavon in the village of Lambesc. It is undoubtedly the oldest vineyard in the area and was already renowned for its wines under the Princes of Orange in the Middle Ages. It has belonged to the Audiberts for around 150 years, and they have only served to enhance the estate’s reputation.
