Château Cos d'Estournel 2ème GCC St. Estèphe Imperial 2018

2018 is another great success for Cos d'Estournel. The terroirs in the north always benefit from the warm vintages, especially St. Estèphe! The renowned trade magazine Falstaff awarded a whopping 100 points and wrote: "Dark ruby colour, violet reflections, delicate edge brightening. Nuances of cassis and fresh figs, but also red berry aspects, exotic spices, a fine touch of precious wood, an incredibly multi-faceted and seductive bouquet. Rich, complex, dark cherries, extract-sweet texture, perfect tannins, round and ripe, dark berries and fine nougat on the finish, lingers for minutes, mineral, red cherries in the aftertaste, very promising development potential, has a great career ahead of it."
