Château Poujeaux Moulis Doppelmagnum 2020

Even if Château Poujeaux was not included in the 1855 classification, today it would certainly have a place in this prestigious league of the Médoc. The wines from Poujeaux have always been very powerful and long-lived. In the last 15 years or so, they have also become finer and more elegant. The outstanding 2020 is exemplary of this new zeitgeist. The appellation always benefits in these somewhat warmer years and Poujeaux proves this with its elegant yet powerful fruit and gripping yet ripe tannins. It scores 91+ points from Robert Parker and 93 points from James Suckling.
