Family winery Tement Zieregg Vinothek Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2017

The 2017 "Zieregg? is already a great wine. The "Vinotheken Reserve? is even more so. While the "Zieregg? offers a cross-section of the great vineyard, the "Vinotheken Reserve? is actually a parcel wine from "Die sieben Reihen? and was aged for a particularly long 30 months on the lees. The wine is fascinatingly dense and intense, fresh and chalky, fragrant and phenolic at the same time. It is reminiscent of gooseberries and cassis, grapefruit and orange peel, some wax and yeast. It is very complex, stony and spicy with a clear, long acid arc and outstanding length. It's already fun now, but has potential for another 25 years. What a great terroir wine!
