Winery Wittmann Morstein GG Riesling 2018
"This is a great German Riesling," writes Stephan Reinhardt for ROBERT PARKER, and he is right. The 2018 "Morstein" is an intense, ripe, seductive and hedonistic wine full of complex fruit, spice and saltiness, intensity and fruit. The old vines from the clay marl and limestone provide vibrant minerality, while the altitude of the site creates tension despite the ripeness. The finish is long, intense and gripping! JANCIS ROBINSON awarded it 18.5 out of 20 points, ROBERT PARKER 96 and JAMES SUCKLING 98 points.
