Champagne Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs 2012

Champagne, France, Champagne, Chardonnay
0.75 l

One of the greatest Chardonnay vintages in Burgundy and Champagne resulted in one of the most beautiful champagnes of 2012 with this Blanc de Blancs from Taittinger! Fine elegance, fresh florality, ripe fruit and an extremely harmonious balance beguile all the senses. A fascinating experience. 99 points from JAMES SUCKLING.

Taittinger

The traditional family business is based in Reims and emerged from the Forest & Fourneaux winery in the early 1930s. It was founded by Pierre-Charles Taittinger, who was a young Parisian officer stationed at the Château de la Marquetterie in Champagne in 1915. 17 years later, he bought this château and joined forces with his brother-in-law Paul Evêque to take over Forest-Fourneaux two years later.
