Château Langoa Barton 3ème GCC St. Julien 2022

Bordeaux, France, Red wine, wine cuvée
0.75 l, Item no. 11092

In warm and somewhat more opulent years, Langoa can really shine. The somewhat tighter and more acidic style of the 3ème Cru Classés can sometimes be a little strenuous in less warm vintages. But the 2022 vintage produced a harmonious, complex, and juicy wine whose red fruit and ripe acidity shine with the utmost subtlety and simply create great drinking pleasure!

Château Langoa Barton

In 1722, the Irish entrepreneur Thomas Barton moved to Bordeaux, where he founded a wine trading company shortly afterwards. Around 100 years later, his grandson Hugh Barton acquired the Langoa estate with around 20 hectares of vineyards and turned it into Château Langoa Barton. This was included in the Médoc classification as a 3ème Grand Cru Classé in 1855.
