Château Langoa Barton 3ème GCC St. Julien 2023

Bordeaux, France, Red wine, wine cuvée
0.75 l, Item no. 11911

The little brother of Leoville Barton is always a little leaner, more charming and more accessible than the "mother ship? Leoville Barton. The style is similar, but somewhat finer, with more red fruit and a more animating character. A very typical St. Julien with the inimitable elegance of this appellation. And at an almost unbeatable price for a 3ème Cru Classé!

Château Langoa Barton

In 1722, the Irish entrepreneur Thomas Barton moved to Bordeaux, where he founded a wine trading company shortly afterwards. Around 100 years later, his grandson Hugh Barton acquired the Langoa estate with around 20 hectares of vineyards and turned it into Château Langoa Barton. This was included in the Médoc classification as a 3ème Grand Cru Classé in 1855.
