Winery Stiegelmar Heideboden Magnum 2016

The "Heideboden? is a cuvée of around two thirds Zweigelt and one third Blaufränkisch with vines aged between 13 and 47 years. The vines are planted in various locations on the Heideboden, but are predominantly rooted in gravel and black earth. Aged for 18 months in barriques, the wine is in excellent condition after eight years of maturation. It is open and ripe, deep dark in color, with aromas of blackberries, blueberries, cherries and raspberries, rounded off with vanilla, well-integrated oak and liquorice.
