The Tuscan winery Tenuta dell'Ornellaia was founded in 1981 by Marchese Lodovico Antinori and in between partly owned by Robert Mondavi. Today it belongs to the wine empire of the Frescobaldi family.

Tenuta dell'Ornellaia: Ornellaia 2019
When you think of "Super Tuscans", you can't help but think of "Ornallaia". The classic Bordeaux cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon (> 60%), Merlot (approx. 30%), Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot impresses with concentrated, very dark berry fruit (blackberry, elderberry, cassis), supple tannins and fine spice.
